2022 EMS SOFTBALL COVID 19 HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY
NYC EMS SOFTBALL LEAGUE COVID 19 POLICY & REGULATIONS
THE NYC EMS SOFTBALL LEAGUE In conjunction with the NYC PARKS DEPT and NYS Guidelines and (CDC) Center of Disease Control and (DOE) Dept of Health have established a Health & Safety Plan and Guidelines for participants in NYC EMS Softball LEAGUE for All Teams, Players , Umpires and Participats to be followed in response to COVID-19
"PHYSICAL DISTANCING AND FACE COVERINGS"
1. ALL Teams and Participants must follow and abide by these Guidelines and Rules or will not be Allowed to participate in the League
2. All Teams and Participants must maintain Social Distancing (6 Feet) apart while at the Park and on the Ballfields
3. All Teams and Participants must wear a mask and PPE while at the Park and the Ballfields and all trash and recyclables must be removed from parks and fields properly
4. All Athletes , Coaches , spectators and participants must leave the Field of play immediately and remain distance from incoming Teams
5. All Teams must provide hand sanitizer for players and try to limit the use of sharing objects or frequently touched areas by wearing gloves, sanitize or try to wash hands frequently
NYC EMS SOFTBALL LEAGUE COVID 19 POLICY & REGULATIONS
"TESTING, TRACING, & HEALTH SCREENING & QUARANTING
1. ALL Teams and Participants must receive a negative test or be vaccinated to be allowed participate in the League
2. All Teams and Participants must keep record or a log in their scorebooks with players name and contact info and last date they played in the League
3. All Atheletes, Coaches, spectators and participants must leave the Field of play immediately and remain social distant from incoming teams
4. Any Player , participant or spectato, exhibiting or experiencbig any COVID 19, symptoms in the past (10) Days, 2 positive Covid 19 tests and or in close contact with confirmed or suspected Covid 19 in past (10) days , must QUARANTINE for at least (5) Days and if they tested positive Covid 19, can not return to play in the League, until the Commissioner of the League, receives a valid Negative Covid 19, test results from a Health Facilty
4. If less than (3) players on any Team test positive, in a week, THE GAME will still be scheduled to be played, If the other Team decides or refuses not to play , It will be Ruled a Forfeit
5. IF (3) or more players test positive in a week, the Game will be Reacheduled for Both Teams
6. All Teams must provide hand sanitizer for players and try to limit the use of sharing objects or frequently touched areas by wearing gloves, sanitize or try to wash hands frequently
7. ALL Managers will be deemed as Safety site monitors and MUST NOTIFY, The Commissioner if anyone on their Team has tested positive, prior to coming the park for a scheduled game.
8 . ANY TEAM or Player that Violates the EMS SOFTBALL LEAGUE " COVID 19 " HEALTH & SAFETY
POLICY (3) Times in the Season will be Removed and Ineligible to play in that Season
9. ALL MANAGERS are Responsible to go over All of the following "Covid 19" Health Policies and must confirm "THEY HAVE READ" and acknowledge they will go over All the Policies with their Team and that their Team will comply with all the Guidelines and Regulations
