It is with Deep regret and sorrow the NYC EMS SOFTBALL LEAGUE, announced the passing of " CHUCKY MEDINA" Manager of "FUETAZO" COED, Softball Team, CHUCKY played , managed and contributed to the NYC EMS SOFTBALL LEAGUE, for many years, he will be missed, and when we here of any Funeral Arrangements we will announce them

2024 NYC EMS SOFTBALL SUNDAY SPRING / SUMMER LEAGUE INFORMATION

" 2024 NYC EMS SUNDAY SOFTBALL LEAGUE will be holding its Opening League Season meeting on Sun Feb 19th at 6;00pm at EVO's SPORTS LOUNGE at 1306 Unionport Road in the Bronx, NY 10462. ALL MODIFIED & COED TEAMS, PLAYERS & UMPIRES are invited to the League meeting. We will be Registering Teams for the upcoming 2024 Spring/ Summer SEASON & we will be going over League Rules & Regulations.

" 2024 NYC EMS SUNDAY SOFTBALL LEAGUE will begin Sun Mar 17th and

ALL Games will be played at PELHAM BAY PARK Ballfields in the BRONX.

There will be 2 seperate LEAGUES (MODIFIED LEAGUE) & (COED LEAGUE)

Teams and players can join in either League or BOTH Leagues if they desire.

Both Leagues, are very Fun, Organized, Family oriented & with lots of Grest competition

BOTH Leagues will be " WOODBAT ONLY" LEAGUES, NO ALUMINUM BATS, BASEBALL BATS are Allowed,

but Corndog Bats are ALLOWED

GAMETIMES IN SUMMER LEAGUE WILL BE 8:45AM, 11:30AM AND 2:15PM & 4:30PM

REMINDER TEAMS AND PLAYERS, MAY PLAY IN BOTH MODIFIED & COED LEAGUES

IN THE SUMMER LEAGUE THEY ARE BOTH SEPERATE LEAGUES

2024 NYC EMS SUNDAY MODIFIED SOFTBALL LEAGUE (20-24) Games Season

Doubleheaders played every SUNDAY. Season will begin Sun Mar 17th,

Modified Teams, can be of any level\ of PLAYER but MODIFIED PITCHING, must be 10;00 arm swing, no sidearm, no slingshot, no windmill, PLAYERS must play in a minimum of 6 Games to qualify for playoffs

2024 NYC EMS SUNDAY COED SOFTBALL LEAGUE (20-24) Games Season

Doubleheaders played every SUNDAY. Season will begin Sun Mar 17th,

COED Teams,must pitch slow pitch lob and COED TEAMS must have at least 3 women ballplayers in the Lineup and on the field, and the women must bat 3rd, 6th and 9 th in the lineup, PLAYERS must play in a minimum of 6 Games to qualify for playoffs

ALL TEAMS must aquire their own equipment , bases and softballs (F 12) CLINCHERS, and woodbats

and must have Team uniforms by the 1st week of MAY, UNIFORM DEADLINE

The INITIAL LEAGUE Fee is 600 Dollars per Team, for the entire 2024 SPRING/ SUMMER SEASON, with a deposit by Feb 26th, to secure a spot in the 2024 Season, which will be a very fun and exciting season.

Minutes from Last meeting Mon March 1st Meeting 

1. Season will be 26-30 Ganes
2021 NYC EMS SUNDAY LEAGUE will be Starting Sun March 21 st for Sunday League Teams ( Modified & COED) Schedule will be made out for Sunday League Teams on Mon March 15th
Weeknite League Teams) will only be WEEKTHE COED , there will be no Weeknite League 
All Games will only be Played at Pelham Bay Park

2, Player Qualification (6) Games must be played by July 4th to Qualify for Playoffs , both Leagues and Final Roster Deadline is due that day with Player Photo ID

3. FREE AGENCY DEADLINE, is June 1st, No Player can switch a Team after that Date

4, COVID POLICY, All Teams must adhere to
Face masks worn , Social Distancing
If (2) Players or less game is played , Player cannot play for (2) weeks and must have Negative COVID Test Return to Commissioner
if 3 or more Players test positive, Team cannot play and Receive a Firfeit loss
If a Team goes awayout of state and someone test positive Team m
Players that went away must Quarantine a minimum of 5 Days

6. Team Initial Roster due at beginning of Season and must have , Player 1st and Last Nane

7. UNIFORM RULE STARTS 1st week in May
for both Sunday & Weekday League

7. New Lineup Cards, Reviewed with EH, DH, Courtesy Runners on Cards

8. EMS LEAGUE RULES & 2021 Banned Pitchers List and NO NEW NAMES were added to the List, but if at Any time during the Season , A Pitcher in the Modified League, throws (2) Illegal Pitches during the Regular Season or Playoffs, that Pitcher will be added to the 2021 EMS BANNED PITCHERS LIST & can NEVER, EVER PITCH in this League again

9. League Fee Deposit we're collected and Scorebooks were given out, All Teams who have not yet payed, MUST PAY LEAGUE FEE, by Opening Day, or will not be Allowed to play in the League After that Date
